Incoming flow enters into the VortClarex system through a Non-Clog Diffuser, and is equally distributed across the chamber width. Settable solids carried with the influent drop out at the soilds baffle wall, thereby reducing the amount of soilds prior to passing through the coalescing media. As the flow pass through the media, the oily constituent accumulates on its surface gathering into larger droplets and eventually into an oily film on the water surface.
